CHESS The Musical

We are proud to be supplying full technical services to the Rolling Stock Production of “Chess - The Musical”.

Cheltenham-based Rolling Stock Theatre Company, will be taking Chess The Musical to an array of stages across Gloucestershire from January to March 2008, treating audiences in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud and the Cotswolds to the show which has wowed the West End.

With lyrics by Tim Rice and a score by Abba’s Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, including hits ‘One Night in Bangkok’ and ‘I Know Him So Well’, Chess The Musical sees players, politicians and spies compete for their heart’s desire against a cold-war backdrop.

Pitching romantic and political rivalries against the game of chess, audiences can expect to see an arrogant American Champion, a Hungarian love interest, and a Russian opponent compete on and off the chess board.

We will be supplying a range of equipment for the tour, including radio microphones and video projection equipment. It was also an opportunity to use our new LED lighting, all of which are available for hire.
